About Basavaraja
Myself Basavaraja, currently I’m working as a UGC-Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in Organic Chemistry section at CSIR-National institute for Interdisciplinary Science and technology (NIIST), Thiruvananthapuram. I had done my bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) at Laxmi Venkatesh Desai (LVD) College Raichur and master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Chemistry with 2nd rank (2016), at Gulbarga University (Campus). After my M.sc, I had Qualified UGC-National Eligibility Test (NET) and UGC-Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in Chemical sciences (Dec-2016) and secured 154 rank all over India (AIR-154). In August 2017, I had joined Ph. D course in Organic Chemistry under the supervision of Dr. B. S. Sasidhar. I had participated in the 8th annual meeting of Indian Academy of Biomedical sciences and Conference on translation of Basic Scientific Insights into Affordable Healthcare Products, held at CSIR-(NIIST), Thiruvananthapuram from 25th-27th Feb 2019. Till now I have been published two Research papers in an International Journals. The Young Achiever Award by Institute of Scholars (Insc) had increased my confidence level and it will be the strong basement for my undergoing research. Finally, my aim is to become a good teacher and I want to develop education system especially in rural areas.
