About Dr. Ishwar S Mohurley
Dr Ishwar Shrawan Mohurley , (Ph.D in Physics), recipient of Best National Service Scheme Programme Officer State award (Maharashtra) and Rashtrsant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University currently working as Registrar of Gondwana University, Gadchiroli. Earlier he was the Finance and Accounts Officer, Director of Students Welfare, Director National Service scheme, Incharge Director Entry in services, Head Post graduate teaching departments, Board of college and university Development, Director Adult and continuing education and extension Services of Gondwana University, Gadchiroli. University. He is Master in Physics and a good exposure to modern technology. He has been awarded Ph.D for his research thesis on “On Plane Gravitational Waves in General Relativity”. He is author of four Books on Physics. He is Associate Professor and head department of Physics, Shri Dnyanesh Mahavidyalaya Nawargaon dist Chandrapur Maharashtra since 26 years. He taught to Post graduate students also. five Research scholars are working his guidance. His contributions include design and planning of curriculum for UG course in Physics. He is Member secretary of Senate, Management Council, Academic council. He has worked on Board of studies in Physics, Faculty of Science and various authorities of University. He has organized more than 10 National Seminars,conferences and workshops and 30 research papers to his credit and he has interest in relativity and materials science. He has participated in UGC Refresher Courses, orientation courses, training Workshops. He is associated with many academic and social institutions. He is also artist in drama and plays vital role in about hundred Marathi drama. He knows English, Hindi and Marathi languages.
