About Anil Kumar
Anil Kumar has more than 11 years of experience in Industrial Research, Design and Development of mechanical static equipment having designed pressure vessels, industrial piping and valves. Anil’s expertise span across the Industrial gas, Steam and Cryogenic sectors. Commencing his career with a Steam Engineering and Control Instrumentation major, Anil has so far worked within the core Steam, Cryogenics, Industrial Gas, HVAC and subsea oil and gas drilling industry sector. Anil is an Indian national, and has a Masters in Operations Management from Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research, Mumbai and a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) degree from Army Institute of Technology, University of Pune, India. He is also involved in research-based projects with the Mechanical, Materials, and Aerospace Engineering department in Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago. He is an active corporate member of Institution of Engineers India Limited by virtue of which he is a certified professional mechanical engineer. His other projects envision to introduce high performance additive manufactured stainless steel in cryogenics. His particular interest has been design and engineering optimization for which he has published and presented 2 technical papers in conferences at national and international level besides having published 3 patents. He is an active professional Member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. He is 33 years old, and during his spare time loves to read.
