About Dr. Indu Sharma

Dr. Indu Sharma I, Dr. Indu Sharma Take Immense Pleasure In Becoming A Member Of Institute Of Scholars (Insc). I Am Greatly Honored To Receive The Insc Young Researcher Award. I See Myself As A Dedicated Researcher Concerned With Exploring Various Two-Dimensional Materials Like Graphene, Transition Metal Dichalcogenides Etc. For Optoelectronic Applications. I Was Born In Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh, India In 1986 And Brought Up In Amritsar, Punjab, India (Famous Tourist Place). I Have Completed My Schooling From Khalsa School, Amritsar, Punjab, India. After Completing Higher Secondary I Took Admission In Khalsa College Affiliated To The Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, Punjab, India To Pursue B.Sc. (PCM) In The Year 2004. Thereafter, I Became A Master’s Science Student (Applied Physics) In Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, Punjab, India. After That, I Pursue Masters Of Technology (Nanoscience And Technology) From Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi. I Am Recipient Of M.Tech Fellowship Under Nano-Mission Program During My M.Tech (Nanoscience And Technology). During My M.Tech Course, I Got An Opportunity To Work With Esteemed Group Nano-Sensor Research Laboratory, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, India Under The Valuable Supervision Of Prof. S. S. Islam For Two Months In The Year 2011. The Experience Was Really Enriching, And It Developed In Me The Urge To Become A Researcher. Further, I Continued My Research Career As A Six Month Research Intern In Physics And Engineering Of Carbon Group And As Project Associate In Electron And Ion Microscopy Group, CSIR-National Physical Laboratory, New Delhi, India In 2012-2013. In 2013, I Got CSIR-SRF Fellowship From CSIR And Enrolled In Phd Program And Completed Phd In Engineering Science In The Year 2018 From Academy Of Scientific Innovative Research (Acsir), Ghaziabad. Currently, I Am Working As A CSIR-Research Associate In Advanced Materials And Device Metrology Division, Csirnational Physical Laboratory, New Delhi. I Have Significantly Contributed In The Field Of Material Science In Particular And Worked On CVD Processes Involved During Growth Of Graphene By Low Pressure Chemical Vapor Deposition Method. I Also Have Explored Optical And Electrical Properties Of Graphene Based Devices For Optoelectronic Applications. Till Date, I Have Published 14 Research Articles In Reputed International Journals And Attended Several Workshops and Delivered Invited Talk At National and International Conferences In India. Hopefully, I Will Carry Out Further Research In The Field Of Optoelectronic Devices To Bring Out Fruitful Outcomes And Will Be Able To Leave Impact With My Work In The Scientific Community And Society, As Well.
