Swosti Debapriya Behera, Daughter Of Professor Basudev Behera And Smt. Bishnupriya Behera, Was Born At Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India On 23rd February, 1992. She Did Her Schooling In Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir, Bhubaneswar And Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir, Phulbani, Odisha. She Has Been A Favourite Student Of Her Teachers Because Of Excellent Academic Records And Extra-Curricular Activities. She Represented Her District In State Level Science Seminar In 2004 And National Children’s Science Congress In 2005. She Is Very Fond Of Social Service And Has Received The Bharat Scouts And Guides Governor Award From Governor Of Odisha In 2007. She Passed Matriculation With 1st Division From BSE, Odisha In 2007 And Intermediate Science With 1st Division From College Of Basic Science And Humanities, OUAT, Bhubaneswar, Odisha In 2009. She Passed B.Sc.(Hons.) Horticulture From College Of Horticulture, Chiplima, OUAT, Sambalpur In 2014 With 80.70% Marks. Thereafter, She Was Selected For Admission To Narendra Deva University Of Agriculture And Technology, Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh Through ICAR AIEEA Examination 2014. She Conducted M. Sc.(Horticulture) Investigation On “Elucidating Effect Of Pre Harvest Treatments On Post Harvest Quality Of Rainy Season Guava (Psidium Guajava Linn.) Cv. Lucknow-49” During Kharif Season Of 2015-16 In The Guava Orchard At Main Experiment Station Of Horticulture And Post Harvest Technology Laboratory Under Guidance Of Dr. Sanjay Pathak, HOD, Post Harvest Technology, College Of Horticulture And Forestry, Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. She Received Vice Chancellor ‘S Gold Medal From Governor Of Uttar Pradesh In 2017 For Securing The 1st Class 1st Position In The Subject In The University. The Findings Of Her Research Work Are Helpful In Enhancing Productivity And Quality Of Guava Fruits Round The Year And Fetching Reasonable Price To Farmers In Domestic And Exports Markets. Currently, She Is Pursuing Ph D In Horticulture On “Post Harvest Quality Enhancement Of Banana Cv. Grand Naine” In Department Of Horticulture Under Guidance Of Dr. Manoranjan Neog, ADEE (T), Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat-13.
