Ajay Kumar Bansal is B.E. (Electrical Engineering) degree from M. B. M. Engineering College, J. N. V. University, Jodhpur, India in 2000 and M. Tech. (Power Systems) degree from Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT), Jaipur, India in 2007. He completed Ph.D. from Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT), Jaipur, India in 2014. From 2002-2007, he was Lecturer in Department of Electrical Engineering, Poornima College of Engineering, Jaipur, India. From 2007-2009, he was Associate Professor in Department of Electrical Engineering, Poornima College of Engineering, Jaipur, India. From 2009 to 2018, he is Director, Poornima Institute of Engineering and Technology, Jaipur. Presently, he is Dean, School of Engineering and Technology, Central University of Haryana, Mahendergarh from 2018. He is senior member of IEEE, Life member of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), life member of The Institution of electronics and telecommunication engineers (IETE), Fellow member of Institute of Engineers (India) and Associate member of Universal Association of Computer and Electronics Engineers (UACEE). He has been active in the research and development of Power Electronics drives and hybrid energy systems for more than fifteen years. He has published more than eighty research paper in national and international journals/ conferences and five books. He won the prestigious POSOCO Power System Award (PPSA)- 2015 for best Ph.D. thesis at National Level and Glory of Education Excellence Award. One patent is also published under his name. He also guided 2 Ph.D. and 7 M. Tech. thesis to completion.
