About Sadhu Venkateswara Rao
S. Venkateswar Rao, working as Associate Professor in department of Pharmaceutics, Vijaya Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences for Women, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. He has been rendering his services to the organization right from its inception from 2009. He completed his B. Pharmacy from Nirmala College of Pharmacy, Kadapa followed by M. Pharmacy from Annamalai University, Chidambaram, Tamilnadu. He is pursuing his Ph.D from Vel’s University, Chennai, the topic being Development of polymeric Nano Carriers for Treatment of Prostate Cancer. His committed services to Vijaya Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences for Women are seen in the consistent growth of the institution. His discipline and collaborative work is an inspiration for many new professionals. He is a person of not many words, but he possesses extensive subject knowledge. His effective techniques of teaching make him stand out as a successful and endearing teacher. With a teaching experience spanning up to 12 years, he has 42 publications in various national and international journals of repute. He has guided 40 M. Pharm projects, 18 B. Pharm projects and 49 B.Pharm seminar topics. He has guided 80 candidates for their oral and poster presentations, at various national conferences conducted outside college. His presentations won first and second prizes consecutively in 2013 and 2014 at IPC. In 2015, his presentation entitled, Responsible Use of Anti-biotics Saves Life was declared the first by IPA at the IPC 2015. He is the winner of the IJRULA Title Award Best Researcher Award 2018 for work titled, "Acid Neutralization Capacity and Cost Effectiveness of Antacid Suspensions Sold across Various Retail Pharmacies in Vijayawada". He is also received Best Teacher Award 2019 for recognition of vital academic performance during "APP 16th Indo African Conference (GTIPS-2019) ".
