About Dr. Habibur Rahman S. M.


Dr S. M. Habibur Rahman M. Pharm., Ph.D., continues to work as Assistant Professor in Pharmaceutical Technology Department, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of UCSI, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He is continuing as Associate Professor in PSG College of Pharmacy, India. He received a bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from JSS College of Pharmacy, Ooty in 2004, a master's degree in Pharmacy from TN Dr MGR Medical University in 2007, and a PhD from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad in 2016. He began his career at PSG College of Pharmacy, India, as a lecturer. He played a significant role in developing research facilities for nanotechnology in the Pharmaceutical Department, PSGCP. He involved in PAGIN (India Population Approach Group), PSG Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, India, Pharmacometrics research. He began his research on the pharmacokinetics and nutraceutical bioavailability. He has successfully spearheaded many research projects funded by the Indian government and the pharmaceutical industries. His research findings published in about 25 research articles in various peer-reviewed national and international journals and also involved in the review committee, editorial board member for the scientific review progress. He has received SILVER MEDAL from Malaysia Technological Expo 2020 in the category of Asian Youth Innovation Award. He has been awarded AIR International Eminent Researcher by Academy of innovation for researchers in Sep 2020 and awarded Honorable Jury Mention (Faculty Category) in 8th Faculty Branding Awards-20 by EET CRS. He has also awarded SKILL TEST as BEST individual participant organized by pharmainfo.net (Canada). His work paper presentations have won several best poster and oral presentation awards. He guided 15 postgraduate theses, and currently, he is guiding 2 PhD thesis in the area of nutraceutical nanoparticles.
