About Preeta Bose
I am Preeta Bose, Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, JIS University (Kolkata, West Bengal). I am also currently pursuing Ph.D in Pharmaceutical Technology. My research interest is in the field of formulation and development and process development. Having completed my schooling from St. Thomas Girl’s School (Kolkata, West Bengal), I have completed my B. Pharm from Bengal School of Technology and M. Pharm from NSHM College of Pharmaceutical Technology. My motto in life is to always try to “enjoy the ice cream before it melts”. I have worked in Glaxosmithkline Pvt.Ltd. after completing my B. Pharm but went on to pursue higher studies due to my extreme attraction towards academics. Currently I have been working as Assistant Professor in JIS University for more than two years now. I have attended and organised several national and international conferences, seminars, workshops as participant, presenter, host and co-ordinator. I have published research papers in various national and international journals, received many awards in the field of pharmacy as a paper presenter. In my leisure time I enjoy reading books, painting and organic gardening. I am associated with various types of social activities such as Social Awareness camps, Blood Donation camps and Animal Relief camps, etc. The young researcher award by Institute of Scholars (InSc) will be a cherishable achievement for me and my work for the future endeavours.
