About Dr. G. Rajkumar
I am, Dr.G.Rajkumar, currently working as Assistant Professor of Chemistry, Vivekananda College, Tiruvedakam West, Madurai. I am having 9 years of research experience and 5 years of teaching experience. My area of research is nanocomposite coatings and corrosion protection strategies. I have published 7 international publications in SCI journals. I have edited one book and presented my research findings in 9 International and 7 National Conferences. I got my B.Sc., degree from St.Joseph’s College, Trichy in 2009 and I was the recipient of Gold Medal in B.Sc., Chemistry. I got both M.Sc., and Ph.D., degree from Gandhigram Rural Institute-DU, Dindigul. I have cleared CSIR-JRF examination with 70th Rank (All India Level) in 2014. I have also cleared State Eligibility Test (SET) examination for Lectureship conducted by Government of Tamil Nadu in 2012, 2016 and 2017. I have been serving as NPTEL translator for Chemistry courses since May 2020 and Academic Counselor, Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) since January 2020. I have also been serving as Editorial Board Member in SKIREC publications, Punjab since June 2020. I have been a Community Member, American Chemical Society (ACS) since July 2020. I have acted as resource person and delivered 24 invited lectures at State/National level. I have completed 3 SWAYAM-NPTEL courses and 3 MOOC courses. I have developed lot of e-contents for competitive examinations such as IIT-JAM/CSIR/GATE-Chemistry.
