About Sheetal Sharma

It is the supreme art of the TEACHER to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge: Albert Einstein. Hello this is Sheetal Sharma, presently working as Govt teacher in the J and K School Education Deptt. Teaching and empowering youth with best education has always my passion since school days.I believe that children learn more in their educational institutions, since they spend considerable time there. I aligned my education towards achieving best possible outcome to spread it for the welfare of the society. I did my Masters in Biotech from HNB Garwal University Uttrakhand which bestowed me with lot of practical experiences in my studies. Since I have developed immense amount of interest in this field, I decided to pursue MPhil in the same field from Jammu University for more value addition in my skills and knowledge. My dedication as well as with guidance of my mentors, I secured first position in my batch. In the meantime to spread my word of wisdom, I joined DPS Jammu and gave my best a teacher can do for their students, immediately after, I got an opportunity to work as lecturer in Biotechnology in Higher Education Deptt J and K, which further enhanced my domain expertise in my subject. Biotechnology is technology that utilizes biological systems, living organisms or parts of this to develop or create different products. This vast field of subject which had already interested me during my school days compelled me to move a step ahead and add another feather on cap by pursuing Doctorate from Arni University, Indora,Himachal Pradesh. My Publications: Research paper published in UGC listed journal ‘JICR’ vol.12, issue 9, September 2020, having IF 6.2 titled “Diversification and antimicrobial potential of fungal endophtes of B. aristata, a medicinal shrub”.
