About Dr. Vipulkumar Prahladbhai Patel
Prof.(Dr.) Vipul P. Patel is currently working as a Professor and HOD (Dept of Pharmaceutics) at Sanjivani College of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Kopargaon. He had 19 years of Teaching and Research experience in the field of Pharmaceutical Technology and Biotechnology. He had guided more than 60 M.Pharm students and 09 Ph.D students awarded under his supervision. He had received more than 1.0 crore rupees grant from various funding agency like AICTE, DBT, GUJCOST, Rajiv Gandhi Science and Technology commission, Mumbai etc for research and Institutional development purpose. He had published more than 60 research publications in various reputed national and international journals and two chapters in international publishing books. He had completed more than 10 lakhs rupees of consultancy projects in his expertise area of cytotoxicity screening for HTS and 01 industry project sponsored by SciTech Specialities Pvt, Ltd., Sinnar, Nashik, Maharashtra. He is professional members of various pharmaceutical associations including IPA, GSPC, Pharmacy Council of India (as an elected Inspector) etc. His major core area of research is Formulation and Development pharmaceutical dosage forms, anticancer drug discovery and cytotoxicity study and production of therapeutically important secondary metabolites for medicinal applications.
