About Anupam Maity


Mr. Anupam Maity was born in the year of 1992. He has completed his schooling from B.D. Memorial Institute, Kolkata. Afterward, he has completed his Bachelor’s degree in Physics from The University of Calcutta (2014) followed by Master’s degree in Applied Physics from IIT(ISM) Dhanbad, India (2016). He has worked as a Research Staff of DST-funded INSPIRE Faculty Project at Bidhan Chandra College, Rishra, India (2016-17) and also served as a teaching assistant in Physics Honours Lab at Jadavpur University, Kolkata (2018). Presently, he is pursuing his doctoral degree as a Senior Research Fellow in joint collaboration under the School of Materials Science, Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, Kolkata, India and Department of Physics, Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India. He is working on supercapacitor, sensor and actuators with a focus on nanodimensional systems. He has presented his work in many national and international conferences. He has already published 10 articles in reputed scientific journals. He has received numerous awards and holds the position of reviewer, evaluator and honorary judge for Science Exhibition held at B.D. Memorial International (2018). He is also a certified member of ACS REVIEWER LAB.
