About Dr. Tangirala Sree Latha
I am Dr. Tangirala SreeLatha, Associate Professor of English, poet, critic, short story writer and translator from Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, India. I started writing poems from my teenage itself and a few of them found place in my college annual magazines during my graduation. My poems are widely anthologized in acclaimed collections of National and International journals, in print and online. They are included in 13 international anthologies among which Inner Child Press, USA is one. I am a regular contributor to Muse India – the literary e-journal, The Criterion – An International e-journal in English, Literoma, Cape comarin publishers – Tamilnadu etc. I participate with delight in some interesting poetry challenges that widely take place online. I regularly publish poems in Guntur International Poetry Fest (GIPF) conducted at Guntur and Amaravati Poetic Prism – An International Multilingual Poetic Festival conducted by Cultural Centre of Vijayawada and Amaravati (CCVA), in Vijayawada. I write poems in Telugu too, which are published in international anthologies and are much appreciated. Hence I am a bilingual poet. I have to my credit, an anthology “VOICED THOUGHTS,” which contains my emotional outpour of feelings collected in tranquility. I am a passionate reader and appreciate different techniques followed by writers of various genres. My interest in modern fiction is inclined especially to Indian women writers which reflected in my research for M.Phil and Ph.D. More than 57 published research papers are there to my credit that are presented and published in various conferences, seminars and other e-journals.
