Currently she is pursuing her Doctoral Programme (Ph.D.) at The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. She is actively engaged in the research field of fungal biotechnology, solid waste management, and bioremediation. She has published four research articles in reputed journals and has more than three years of research experience. She has also worked for a reputed industry in Gujarat as a Junior Research Fellow and has managed their Agri-portal and later worked under a research project funded by the industry. Been environmental activist, her recent research work underlines the determination of nonbiodegradable components present in solid waste and degradation of an identified component using fungal isolates, which revealed polyethylene bags to be responsible for plastic menace. The final objective of her work is to assess practical application of the outcome which is to degrade polyethylene bags using fungal isolates in natural landfill conditions. She has also achieved National and International awards for her excellent research work.
