About Sania Bashir
Sania Bashir is a doctorate student from (CIRBSc), Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. She has been affiliated to senior research fellow by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). Bachelors and Masters background in Biotechnology from Jamia Millia Islamia. She was a Bronze medalistin Bachelor of Biotechnology. She works in the group of Professor FaizanAhmad’s Protein Research Lab, under the supervision of Dr Asimul Islam and Dr Md. Imtiyaz Hasan. Her primary research focuses on diseases persuade due to protein aggregates and Diabetes research. Goal: Inhibition of insulin fibroids by natural inhibitors, which is one of the causesof diabetes. Also, to maintain its native form in recombinant insulin proteins, this could be a significant contribution for the diabetic patient esp. for the underprivileged section of the society. She has published books chapter’s in Springer Nature.Many reviews are in line up for publications in international journals.Her outstanding performance has awarded as Best Poster Presentation Awards in National Seminar on Biophysics; Biophysika 2018 and 2019. She has recently been involved in studies for Covid-19: basis prevention and cure, and has received the Best Position Paper award in WHO committee of International Model United Conference (IMUN) 2020. Currently, grabbed as top campus ambassador position at IMUN. Her recent work has been published in one of the pioneer international journal American Chemical Society (ACS) Omega.
