Professor (Dr.) Nazir Ahmad Kotey, HOD Sociology, Govt. Degree College for Women Anantnag, Kashmir feel immense pleasure to be nominated for INSC Best Teacher Award and more happy that I have been honoured by INSC. In real sense the organization is providing a platform to academicians, teachers and researchers of various fields to excel their excellence. As rightly said by A.P.J Abdul Kalam “Teaching is a very noble profession that shapes the character, caliber and future of an individual” and honestly speaking if the people remember me as a good teacher that will be biggest honour for me. I think there are no mistakes in life, they are just lessons and as such I have always used my previous weaknesses as the challenges for a better foundation of my future and have never lost my courage in my academic carrier. I think there is always a way if you are committed. I have a good taste in research. During my carrier I have published sixteenbooks and a number of research papers at national and international level. Last but not least, I don’t have sufficient words at my command to express my gratitude to my well wishers particularly to my students, teachers and my colleagues at Women College Anantnag who always adorned my lips with great smiles during my successful journey. So all of them are equally part of this Best Teacher Award.
