I have pursued doctoral degree Ph. D in Soil and Water Conservation Engineering, from the Maharana Pratap University of Technology, Udaipur, Rajashtanin 2015 in first class (8.41/10.00 CGPA) as an in-service candidate on the research topic entitled “Hydrologic Modeling of Run-off and Sediment yield for Savitri Basin of Konkan Region”.I have perused M. Tech in Agricultural Engineering from Post Graduate Institute, Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, Akola during the year 1997 to 1999 in first Class (7.56/10.00 CGPA). My research Project for M. Tech was “Modeling of One Dimensional Water Flow in Unsatured Zone of Watershed. After completion of my Post Graduation, I had joined as Senior Research Fellow under the World Bank funded project on NATP on Watershed Technology, Dry land Agriculture, Dr.PDKV.,Akola and served there for 9 month during 1stApril, 2000 to 5th January, 2001.Then I shifted to Central Institute of Agricultural Engineering, Nabi Bagh, Bhopal as Research Associate and worked during 5thJanuary, 2001 to 17thOctober, 2003 where I got the opportunity tocontribute and workon “Development Energy Efficient Pumping System’ under the Project ‘Team of Excellence on Agricultural Machinery Design and Development. Soon, I joined as Assistant Professor, SWCE at College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, Dapolion 20th October 2003 and served for14 years and 6 Months till12th April 2018. My workprofile at Dr. BSKKV, Dapoli pertains mainly to Teaching alongwith Research, Extension activities and also hold additional charge of “Farm In-charge for more than 10 Years. Presently, I am working as Associate Professor, SWCE in Department of Soil and Water Conservation Engineering, Dr. PDKV, Akola since 13th April 2018 till date. Further, I possess total teaching experience of 16 years and 11 months considering my services at Dr. PDKV Akola and Dr. BSKKV, Dapoli rendered during the period of 10th October 2003 to 10.10.2020. During aforesaid period I taught the students of B. Tech. (Agril. Engg.), M. Tech. (Agril.Engg.) and Ph. D.(Agril. Engg.) degree programmes. A total of 12 completed B. Tech. (Agril. Engg.)Students projects are at my credit.I also worked as Chairman of SAC for 4 students of M. Tech. (Agril. Engg.), member of SAC for 18 students ofM. Tech. (Agril.Engg.) and 1student of Ph. D. (Agril. Engg.) Likewise, I am possessing vast Research experience of 20 years and 6 Months, which was accomplished during 1st April 2000 to 15th October, 2020inclusive of my tenure at Dr. PDKV, Akola, Dr. BSKKV, Dapoli and CIAE, Bhopal. During the said period I have successfully handled 6 external funded research projectin the capacity of PI and Co PI and 2 projects of Extension Education. I have wrote 31 full length research papers which were published in nationally and internationally cited journals of repute, 9 Technical bulletins, 40 abstracts of technical papers, 18 Popular articles, 2 chapters for Text book, and also contributed and published thefolders for creating awareness amongst the stake holders. Moreover, I have attended 21 National / International workshops and seminars and presented research papers therein.A total of 16 recommendations areat my credit which wereapproved in the Joint Agresco held from time to time during the aforesaid period. I am keenly interested in the thrust areas of research pertaining to Hydrologic Modeling, Application of RS and GIS in Watershed and Hydrologic Modeling and Ground Water Management and Modeling.Lastly, I too actively participated andworked on different committeesfor successful and timely organization of different events by both the universities viz., Avishkar, RRC meetings, Maha agro exhibition, Agro exhibitions, Shivar Pheri, extension programmes and Annual Social gathering of students.
