About Dr. Hutoxi Aibara
Warren Buffet has rightly said, The secret of joy in work is contained in one word - Excellence. This is what I am striving for since the beginning of my career – a passion for teaching. I am Dr. Hutoxi Aibara and my main objective is to utilize my knowledge and creative skills for the growth and development of the organization and self. I am a double graduate in Maths - Science (B.Sc.) as well as in Education (B. Ed). During the course of this educational journey I have completed my post graduate in Science (M. Sc.) and Education (M. Ed) as well as my doctorate in Education (Ph. D.) in 2019. I started my career as a Secondary Teacher in a school in1985. I became a Principal in 2002. At present I am the Principal at Sadhana Education Society’s Malti Jayant Dalal High School at Santacruz (W), Mumbai. I was one of the first few Principals who had trained for handling the children with Learning Disability. This has been a subject of interest to me as well as my training as well as knowledge have helped to date many such students to make their ‘road to success’. I was also one of the main speakers at the Principal’s Seminar at the launch of Times of India’s NIE – children’s edition. My good communication skills have stood me in good stead as I have been a Participant and a speaker at several conferences at National and international level. To name a few - at the International Conference of World Education Fellowship on Life Long Learning at Mumbai; Seminar on Empowerment of Minority Girls through Education by National Commission for Minority Educational Institutes, New Delhi; the Global Teachers’ Conference and many more. I have won several awards notable among them being – the ZOSTA Best Teacher Award 2000 and 2010 and ZOSTA Best Principal’s Award 2019, ‘Global Principal’s Award 2019’. The most recent ones being the Acharya Chanakya Shikshavid Samman 2020 in recognition of sustainable efforts in education during COVID19. This award was also recognised in the World Book of Records, United Kingdom; Global Excellence Award for Best Principal in the field of Education 2020; Yashassvi Educator Award 2020-2021 as ‘Icon of Excellence in Education’ and the latest one being the “Naari Tu Narayani” – Woman Educator Award 2021. I’m an optimist to the core, who believes in striving till the end. My motto is my belief in what Gandhiji has rightly said “Change is the way of life and that change begins with me”.
