About Intakhab Alam
In 1999, I appeared for BPSC(Bihar public service commission) and got selected and from the year 2000. I am working for the same and contributed a lot till date. On 16th March 2016, I got appointed as the school head master of Govt. Middle school sultanpur pashchim, block.. Mohiuddin nagar, Distt.. Samastipur, Bihar. The location where the school situated is a flooded area and because of the heavy flood the school got drowned and the classroom got completely damaged. I asked for help from department, but no body bothered to help me, so I helped myself. On Saturday and Sunday, we used to take sand from a non- permanent land nearby all by myself and slowly and gradually we built a classroom.that got dameged during the flood and named it "BLOOMING MINDS" I kept a hammer, some broken toothbrush,wire, cardboard, colours etc in order to help the students to give freedom to their minds and also to help them express their personality and emotions in a well suited manner. All the creations and the inventions made by the students get displayed in that classroom.one more difference which BLOOMING MINDS have made is that those last bench students who don't connect with their teacher's that well also started talking a keen interest in students with the help those first bench students. This shows a complete change of cycle that how the students are helping their own classmates to climb up the ladder by becoming their guide. The important thing is not that we should teach every child , but we should give every child the wish to learn. When the reason behind is that many government schools are in the rural areas and students often work outside to earn their livelihood because of the financial crisis at home and as a result, they don't get time to go to the school. It's very common that how students are only staying at school till they get the mid day meal but my school students often forget that they have to go to their house as well. And they made this possible by me as engages the students in dancing, singing, playing, plantation and many others fun activities. He made his school a home away from home for our students. I am awarded by the anandshala "SIKSHA RATAN" for being the outstanding teacher and a head teacher who has worked enormously great to enhance the condition of government school and education system in India. I am also winning the best teacher award from Patory foundation and winner the 2011 Bihar yuva utsav.
