About Poonam Kochitty
Mrs.PoonamKochitty has a Masters in Psychology and a B.Ed to her credit and has been in the school sector for over 38 years. She has primarily served as Founder Principal in some of the most prestigious Schools of Lucknow namely City Montessori School (1981-97) St Mary's High School (1998-2001) Lucknow Public School Sahara States (2002-2005) and ShriRamswaroop Memorial Public School (2005-2014),Seth AnandramJaipuria School Lucknow (2015 – present) and nurtured them to great heights. In the last couple of years she has been working as a CBSE certified trainer and has conducted training in various Schools in Kolkata, Raigarh, Khairagarh and Faizabad. She has been conducting in-service training for the staff of the Schools she has headed ,over the years.
Ms Kochitty's forte is conducting workshop on Life Skills and Value Education, two themes very dear to her heart. After all true success and happiness can only be experienced if individuals have developed necessary life skills, and any profession they are engaged in, is guided by values and ethics. Ms Kochitty's impact as a speaker is a result of the numerous real life anecdotes she narrates during her presentation, that strike an immediate chord with the audience. She has also taken up workshops on Health and Wellness and Gender sensitivity. Both are pertinent issues not just for school children but also adults from all walks of life.
Ms Kochitty has herself attended various Seminars and training programs, the most prominent being a ten day training at the renowned XLRI Jamshedpur, NUEPA New Delhi and IIT Delhi. She has also attended International conferences in Svendborg Denmark, and Penang Malaysia apart from participating in a month long School Exchange program with Upwey South School, Melbourne Australia.
Ms Kochitty is a product of St Mary's Convent Lucknow, Loreto Convent Lucknow and was a topper in her college at the graduate level. She was also a UP State merit holder at both graduate and post graduate levels.
Currently Mrs.PoonamKochitty is working as the founder Principal of Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Lucknow and in a span of just 3 years the school has achieved numerous global feats .The School was fortunate enough to get their name registered for Guinness Book Of World Records as an official participant in the world's largest attended First Aid training. The school stands second in the city of Lucknow as per DL Rankings and is the only Microsoft school in the city of Lucknow.
