About Ranbir Singh

Dr. Ranbir Singh is currently working as a Ramanujan Faculty Fellow in the School of Computing and Electrical Engineering (SCEE) at IIT-Mandi. His research work focuses on organic/inorganic/hybrid materials for optoelectronic devices such as photovoltaics, photodetector, piezoelectric, and electronic-skin (e- skin). Earlier, he was Assistant Professor in the Department of Energy & Materials Engineering, Dongguk University, Seoul, Korea (2018-2021). Also, he worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Center for Advanced Soft Electronics (CASE), POSTECH, South Korea (2015–2018), and Center for Nanoscience and Technology (CNST)@IIT, Italy (2014-2015). He received his Ph.D. degree in Physics from Politecnico di Milano, Italy (QS ranking -142) (2014), and MTech in Material Science & Engineering from IIT Kanpur, India (2007). Also, he worked in the industry “SAMTEL” on PMOLED and AMOLED mobile display technology from 2008-2011. He has published 78 intrnational journal papers with citations – 2113; h-index = 26; i10-index – 43).
