Sri. Krishnakumar Myala was born on 25 th October 1993 in Gangavathi city located in the Koppal district of the Karnataka State. His father name is Sri. Pampapati Myala, mother Smt. Lokamma Myala and Sister Smt. Meghana. He was completed school studies in his birth place, Intermediate in Municipal PU College Gadag, B.Sc. (C,Z,Gen.) degree in Karnataka Science College Dharwad (KCD) and got Post Graduation degree (M.Sc.) in Applied Zoology at Kuvempu University, Shankaraghatta. He is very interested in study and gain knowledge from different fields like B.Ed from Rani Channamma University, Belagavi and M.Com from KSOU Mysuru. From 2019 he is doing Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) at Department of Applied Zoology, Kuvempu University under the Guidance of Dr. Shwetha, A, with the topic “Diversity and distribution of Avifauna in Hanumanhalli Area, Gangavathi Taluk, Karnataka with special reference to Bee-eaters”.
He started his teaching profession from 2016, he worked in PU Colleges, Govt. First grade colleges as a Guest Lecturer and Incharge Head of Zoology department for many years. Apart from this he worked as a Technical Executive in Karnataka Biodiversity Board, PBR Section at Koppal District and he successfully completed the PBR Govt. Forest department project allotted to him within 2 years. Now he is working as a Principal in Kalmath Degree College for Science, Gangavathi. He recently completed 3years in his Principal carrier with his bold steps in administration, implemented good thoughts and created good healthy environment.
He attended many functions as a Resource Person organized by Department of Forest and others. Aware the peoples through his speech for importance of biodiversity and their conservation. His Research article is accepted in Scopus indexed Japan Journal (Gong Cheng Advanced Engineering Science) paper entitled “A Study Based On The Population Density and Population Composition of Avifauna at Hanumanahalli of Gangavathi Taluk”. He is a good Bird researcher and identifier too. By his effort, knowledge and honesty he got all these positions and degrees in small ages, we congratulates him for getting this Best Principal award in 2022 and we wish him all the best for his future.
