Chandeshwar Misra has completed his graduation (2013) and post-graduation (2015) from Dr. R.M.L. Awadh University, Faizabad, Uttar Pradesh. After qualifying Joint Entrance Screening Test (AIR- 195) and Graduate Aptitude Test (AIR-635), he joined Raman Research Institute in 2016 to pursue his Ph.D. He has submitted his Ph.D. thesis in December 2022. He has good team leader qualities. Sport, music, reading, movies, and other activities are among his interests.
My current research interest is studying the jamming dynamics of soft colloids in aqueous suspensions. I synthesize various colloidal particles like poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) (PNIPAM) particles of different sizes and stiffnesses and thermoresponsive core-shell particles with core and shell having different lower critical solution temperatures. I use the techniques like dynamic light scattering, rheology, rheo-dielectric, and scanning electron microscopy to study the dynamics of these colloidal particles and their microstructure in aqueous suspensions.
