Dr Sushil S Lonkar working as Assistant Professor in Tai Golwalkar Mahavidyalaya Ramtek. He had completed his M.Sc. in Zoology with Specialisation Agriculture Entomology. He had pursued his Ph.D. on studies of Aquatic Invertebrates. He has research experience in the field of Entomology, Aquatic Invertebrates, Limnology, Hydrobiology, Icthyofaunal. He had also completed one minor research project on Avifaunal biodiversity. He had participated in several National&International conferences symposium, and workshops. He is having 14 International and National publications on his name and several posters with scientific approach. Dr Sushil Lonkar is having job and skill experience in the field of Forensic Sciences specialised in Toxicology , Experienced as a Laboratory , documentation and SOP for Import & Export in Directorate of Plant Protection Quarantine and Storage. He is well versed to inspect the Insect Infestation in Import & Export perishable and Non perishable commodities. Various advanced techniques required for export in Indian Subcontinent of the Agriculture commodities like FHAT treatment, Irradiation treatment. He is also expertise in Packing and Packaging techniques for Import & Export as per ISPM-15 standards. He is currently working on Effects of some Insecticides on the Common Carps in India. He is also involved in the conservation of some least threaten wild fish species in Central India. Perhaps, Dr Sushil Lonkar is always committed to society in Rural and Semi-Urban areas he had also received appreciation during the Covid-19 Pandemic from the local authorities.
