About Dr. Saranik Sarkar
I am Dr. Saranik Sarkar, completed my graduation (BDS) from Kalinga Institute of Dental Sciences (KIIT University), Bhubaneswar, Odisha in 2017 and currently pursuing my post graduation (MDS) in 'PERIODONTICS & ORAL IMPLANTOLOGY' from Rama Dental College-Hospital & Research Centre (RAMA University), Kanpur, Uttarpradesh. I am an associate member of 'Indian Society of Periodontology' and also a member of 'Indian Dental Association' as well as 'National Oral Cancer Prevention Initiative Society (NOCPI)'.We, periodontists are the dentists, who specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of gum disease. The periodontists are trained to perform many surgical procedures such as bone grafting, flap surgery, mucogingival surgery, perio-plastic surgery, sinus lifting and implant placement etc. We are also trained to handle the supporting structures of the teeth (bone, Periodontal ligament, cementum), as well as diseases and conditions that affect them. We can create esthetically perfect smile by maintaining the small pink tissue (Gingiva) and by reinforcing proper oral hygiene measures in patients.Besides, the clinical work, I have attended and presented scientific papers as well as posters in many State and National Conference and in Postgraduate Convention. I have few publications in some of the peer-reviewed International journal.Dentistry is my passion and I feel extremely honoured to designate myself as a dentist because I am getting an opportunity to mend up broken smiles. Deep down there's a sense of pride and loads of love for my profession of dentistry because it has given me a name and foundation for my dreams to which I'll be deeply indebted forever.The satisfaction I get after completing the treatment of each and every patient and the happiness on the patient's face make me more confident and also gives me positive energy and strength to spread more and more healthy smiles among the people.Lastly, I want to thank all the respected members of review committee of 'Institute of Scholars' for appreciating my work and for giving me such a prestigious award.
