About Dr. Nipunjot Kaur
Nipunjot kaur Soni-Bains is Assistant Professor & Head, Department of Biotechnology, GSSDGS Khalsa College, Patiala-147002.Punjab, India. She posses fourteen years experience in the field of education (both teaching and Research). She is Ph. D. in Life Sciences on the topic of “Development of protease-deficient strain of Schizosaccharomyces pombe through gene silencing approach.” She has thorough understanding of the subject with ability to convey the same to the students. In her fourteen years of teaching carrier she has given 100% results. Majority of her students are well settled at good positions in academic, industrial and public services sector within the country and abroad. She possesses good communication and comprehension abilities and passion to take up new challenges. She is an active member of Internal Quality Assuarance Cell of the College. She is member of Dr. Ganda Singh Carrier Guidance cell under which she co-ordinates the counciling and placement of students.
