About Dr. B V Subba Rao
Dr.B.V.Subba Rao, presently working as Professor and Head of the Department of Information Technology branch in P.V.P Siddhartha Institute of Technology, Vijayawada, affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University. He has a total of 18 years of rich experience comprising teaching, research and industry. He received his Ph.D degree in Computer Science and Engineering in the domain of Artificial Intelligence in the year 2011 and M.Tech degree with distinction in Computer Science and Engineering from Acharya Nagarjuna University in the year 2005. He received Gold Medal from Andhra University in his Post Graduate Studies. He delivered expert lectures for Infosys Campus Connect Program at Infosys Technologies, Mysore Campus. He has guided 51 post Graduated and 115 graduate projects. He has published 45 papers in International Journals and 8 papers in national Journals and presented 12 papers in National /International Conference Proceedings. He chaired a technical session in an International Conference SCI-2108 organized by Springer/CSI and ACM chapter.He has an Academic participation in 39 International / National Seminars / workshops and Conferences. He is an editorial Board member to various National and International journals like IJ-CA-ETS, IJ-ETA-ETS, International Journal of Knowledge and Research in Computer Engineering, International Journal of Computer Science and Information Technology, International Journal of Advanced Research in Computer Science and also reviewer of these journals. He is a Life member of Computer Society of India (CSI) and Past Chairman of CSI Chapter Vijayawada, and a member of Institution of Engineers, Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), United State of America and Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), New Delhi.He is a recognized research supervisor at JNTUK, Kakinada, Rayalaseema University, Kurnool and at KL University, Guntur. He is currently guiding 2 Ph.D scholars in Computer Science and Engineering. He received a grant of Rs 6 lakhs from DST, New Delhi for a project on Big Data Initiative and 1 lakh from Siddhartha Academy, Vijayawada for development of a CAF Mobile App to Idea Cellular ltd. He obtained two patents from Intellectual Property India, Govt. of India, New Delhi for his innovations on IoT based Drainage overflow Monitoring system and System for determining life span of individuals and a method for the same. He visited county Malaysia and chaired a technical session in an International conference.His current research interests are in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Human conscious Intelligence, Natural Language Processing and Information Storage Retrieval systems.
