About Dr. Rm.Meyyammai
Dr.RM.MEYYAMMAI is assistant Professor in Economics, D.G.Government Arts College for Women, Mayiladuthurai. To her credit she has M.A., M.Phil ., Ph.D in Economics. She earned her Ph.D degree in Environmental Economics. Dr. RM.Meyyammai has a passion for higher research and has to her credit of 55 papers of which 35 papers have been presented in national journals and 10 papers have been presented in international conferences. 10 papers have been published in peer reviewed journals. She has 12 years experience of teaching profession. She has designed curriculum in board of studies. Her teaching methods are innovative like OHP, LCD, Group Discussion friendly oriented approach to the students. She motivated the students to participate in the seminars and conferences. She made a Field work research also. She take a special classes for a dull students and motivate to do a good work in the studies. She is a co-ordinator for women harassment abuse club in the college. She organizing population club and staff recreation club in the college. She worked as a member of anti ragging committee in the college. She done various activities regarding teachers oriented programmes in the college. She has received a gold medal and Adarsh Vidya Saraswati Rashtriya Puraskar, national award of excellence from the Glacier Journal Research Foundation for her outstanding contribution of research in Economics.
