About Dr. Kamal Krishna Das
Dr. Kamal Krishna Das , a citizen of Malda District, West Bengal, India was born on 3rd October of 1969. Basically a nature lover personality & environmental activist of West Bengal. He has completed his masters in Zoology with a specialization on Ecology & Animal Behaviour from University of North Bengal in the year 1992 . Carried out research work on Mango-economy of Malda District for the betterment of socio- economic status of said district & achieved Ph.D degree from University of North Bengal , Darjeeling , India in the year 2008. He has joined in a Higher Secondary School as an assistant teacher of Biology on July, 1993. Received prestigious Shiksha Ratna awared from Education depertment , Govt. of West Bengal for outstanding teaching performances in the year 2012. Recipient of Chanchal Gourab Sammanona by Dikdarshan in collaboration with Chanchal Gram Panchyat for excellent contribution in the field of education in the year 2013. Received Sera Bigyan Karmi awared from Paschim Banga Vigyan Mancha for promotion of several scientific investigations with school students in the year 2014. Recived Sear Shikshak Sammanona from Dr. B. C. Roy Memorial Committee , Kolkatta for valuable contribution to nation building as a teacher in the year 2015. Engaged in poisonous Parthenium plant eradication program in the area of North Malda over the last 11 years with serving school students.
