About Dr. Pritt Verma
Dr. Pritt Verma currently working as a ICMR-SRF in the department of Pharmacology, CSIR-National Botanical Research Institute, Lucknow and completed her PhD. In Pharmaceutical Sciences (Pharmacology) from CSIR-National Botanical Research Institute in the division of Pharmacology and Amity University, Lucknow. He did B. Pharm from Department of Pharmacy, CSJM University, Kanpur and M.Pharm from Institute of Pharmacy, Teerthankar Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. Dr. Pritt Verma has good scientific papers and projects either presented or published. She is expert in pharmacological screening of drugs/medicinal plant on rodents mainly focused Hepatoprotective, Anti-ulcer, wound healing, Preclinical Toxicological Evaluation, Anti Inflammatory and Analgesics activity from natural sources/medicinal plants. She is in instrumental in setting up of Preclinical toxicity studies and Hepatoprotective activity of phytomolecules from natural sources i.e. medicinal plants or marine sources.
She is recipient of Junior and Senior Research Fellowship from UGC in 2012 and 2015. She is a member of various reputed professional organizations in India and abroad. Recently she joined as a Graduate member of The American Society of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics. She is the member of The International Society of Ethno pharmacology UK and National Society of Ethnopharmacology, Kolkata. Dr. Pritt visited abroad to enhance his professional experience at various capacities. To her credit she published 20 research papers in peer reviewed national and international journal and that have been cited over 40 times, and presented more than 50 papers in various symposium. She is also serving as an Editorial and Reviewer board member in various international and national scientific journals. Recently she received the award of “Young Women Scientist Award” by Atomic Energy Regulatory Board Mumbai, in a National Seminar organized by Himachal College of Pharmacy. She also received the “Research Excellence Award-2020” by Institute of Scholars (InSc award) Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
